Powder Springs is gearing up to host the fourth-annual "Bringing The Sea To the Springs Seafood Festival" from May 17-19. The event, organized by the City of Powder Springs and Robin Roberts Promotions, promises a weekend filled with fresh seafood, live music, arts & crafts, and more.
The festival, which will take place at Thurman Springs Park in downtown Powder Springs, is expected to attract a large crowd, just like its successful inaugural event in 2021 that welcomed over 10,000 attendees. The collaboration between the city and event organizers aims to bring the community together through food, arts, and entertainment.
Attendees can look forward to a variety of food options from vendors such as BJ’s Concessions, California Fish Market, and many more, ensuring there is something to satisfy every palate. In addition to seafood, the festival will also offer other cuisines for visitors to enjoy.
Live music will be a highlight of the weekend, with performances from local Atlanta musicians like Gold Standard Band, Crossroads Band, and headliner Dwayne Dopsie & The Zydeco Hellraisers. The festival promises a lively atmosphere with a diverse lineup of music acts to entertain the crowds.
While general admission and parking are free, there are special tickets available for unique events during the festival, including The Beach Club VIP Ticket priced at $10, offering VIP seating for attendees. However, coolers and pets are not permitted at the event.
Sponsors for the event include The City of Powder Springs, Cobb Travel and Tourism, and other local businesses. For more information on the festival, interested individuals can visit the official event website or contact Robin Roberts for details.
The upcoming seafood festival in Powder Springs is set to be a vibrant celebration of food, music, and community, providing a fun-filled weekend for all attendees to enjoy.
